8- or 16-Page Zine Template for Legal-Size Paper
A downloadable project
This grouping of files is a zine template for those of us who use InDesign to create zines!
If you don't use IND don't worry! You can use the PDF or .jpeg files in your own design program by setting the opacity down, locking it in place, and then deleting that layer/file before you go to print!
Here are some pages on how to cut and fold the zine, as it is a little tricksy if you've never done it before. However, if you've ever even attempted those oragami cranes in middle school then you are in fact overqualified for this project.
Wikibooks on how to put a zine together.
More stuff on Zine Folding. (mostly images)
Another handy guide with the front and back covers in the right place for my template:

this is traced off of taylor rushing’s work
for the curious, here’s an article from 2020 with the work in question: https://socialstudio.space/how-to-zine-library/
Hi, I was wondering if you could recommend any good tutorials on how to use InDesign to make mini-zines?
Love this method, but I'm confused as I only see an 8-page version. Is there a page/file I'm missing?
